Description
The 250um fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire sometimes sheathed polyethylene (PE) for cable with high fibre count locates in the center of core as a metallic strength member.
Tubes and fillers are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core. The Corrugated Steel Tape is longitudinally applied over the cable core which is filled with the filling compound to protect it from water ingress. The cable is completed with a PE sheath.
Features and Benefits
- Good mechanical and temperature performance
- High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant
- Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fibre
- pecially designed compact structure is good at preventing loose tube from shrinking
- Crush resistance and flexibility
- PE sheath protects cable from ultraviolet radiation
- The following measures are taken to ensure the cable water resistance
- Steel wire used as the central strength member.
- Loose tube filling compound.
- Corrugated Steel tape enhancing moisture-proof.
- 100% cable core filling (Steel Armoured Type)
- Single Fibre Reinforced Plastic as the central strength member (Dielectric Armoured Type)
- Available in Gel- Free and Gel-Filled.
- Complies with Standard YD/T901-2009 as well as IEC 60794-1
Application
- Suitable to direct bury.
- Suitable for duct.
- Non-self-supporting aerial.
